I am honored to have been elected as the 2021 President Elect of the American Institute of Architects. I’ve been a member of AIA since the late 1980s and I’ve tried to be an active, involved and interested member over that thirty-year period. I’m a partner in a small (but mighty) firm based in Chicago and I teach. Like every one of the 94,000 members of AIA I have unique perspectives and needs; as President, I aim to put every member’s voice into play. It’s our Institute and it’s important that we are all heard and have a seat at the table. I’ll work to facilitate that so that we can all do our best work for the communities and people we serve. Let me know about the issues that face you as a member of AIA and how you’d like to see AIA move forward as we create a Blueprint For Better, together.
